It’s time to kick Santa’s butt!

As many of you may know for the past several weeks I’ve been working on a holiday themed adventure for fifth edition. It all started with me deciding to create a stat block for Santa Claus. Then I went a little further and created stats for Mrs. Claus and the rest of Santa’s crew (including the crowd-pleasing hot chocolate elementals). The reaction to these creatures was so great that I decided to create a free adventure as a holiday gift for the readers of this blog. Well now you can grab it in the link below!

Happy Holidays

With the Winter holidays ruined by a rash of explosive coal gifts, adventurers must venture to the North Pole to discover what’s making Santa punish the nice and reward the naughty. Happy Holidays is an adventure for four to six 20th level characters which uses fifth edition rules.

Here are the maps I made using Pyromancers’ Dungeon Painter. It’s a free easy-to-use online mapmaking tool. Take a look at the gridded and gridless options of the map below. You should easily be able to bring the 51×51 map into any virtual table.

Blog Carnival

I should also mention that this blog post is part of this month’s RPG Blog Carnival, which is being hosted right here on this very blog for all of December. The theme is “Homebrew Holiday Gifts.” I’m asking bloggers everywhere to share their RPG creations for their favorite systems with me. At the end of the month I’ll make a list linking all participating blog posts so everyone can checkout the fine homebrew creations in one place.

More PDFs

Check out the Free Game Resources section of the site for more free RPG goodness. You can grab several maps there with gridded and gridless options (and their corresponding adventures) along with free PDFs of fifth edition magic itemsmonsters, backgroundsD&D fifth edition rules modulesspells, and more created by yours truly.

  3. I have successfully brain stormed a holiday season adventure for all major and minor holiday season adventure for example for vetrens day the fallen of war rise in valor a adventure about how dead vetrens of human, elf, dwarf, halfling, gnome military personnel have returned as revanants to aid there civilation against the Outside threat of raid factions of goblins, orc, xvarts, and kobolds normally at odds with the xvarts setting aside there difference between each other and anamosity for the sake of conquest and a ancient enchanted idium which if found by the heros first will vanquish the seemingly impossibly huge military forces of the goblins orcs xvarts kobolts I am so glad that my brainstorming was not in vain my only regrets for the time invested is that I really had to muse really hard to the point of almost getting a migraine creating all my holiday season theamed d&d adventures damn I need a alive(ah-leve) 💊

  4. Love the Christmas d&d5e adventure idias so much i saved them to my touch screen cell phone screen

  5. Hellow fellow DMS heres some extra help for your adventures if you . download the fitz’s 5e dm screen pdf
You’re going to have a quality digital dm screen
Included is a path way encounter section there’s a Urban path section & a Wilderness path section and I added background view section like the afore mentioned path encounter section the background view of my dm notes makes it more intresting I like when I roll out the number for my questers to view a Urban feast and latter every character at the feast or a couple characters get the questers attention and invite them to the community feast with a gleeful welcome a honnest smile

  6. http://www.5edmscreen.com is a online dm screen
My favorite part of this dm screen is the something happened 20d roll feature and the character personality
Building section but most of all the 20d roll something happened section which works well with the path encounter 20d roll of the fitz dm screen and my dm foot notes of which as afore mentioned has a 20d background view senario all three together really bring the adventure alive

  7. I’m sure that I am so the only 28
Year old dungeon master running a R rated
D&D5e campaign each rpg scenio to be honest about the fullnes of the rpg scenario content do to it being R rated I never play my campaign with others because most people though they are mature they are hyper sensitive mamby pambys that want me to run my campaign more like a pg rpg scenerio or even a even lesser rpg scenario grade I grade rpg scenarios by movie ratings though sometimes I am supprised how much the rpg scenarios of my d&d5e campaign get like a nc 17 level during some rpg scenarios in my d&d campaign I named it envoy onslaught vexations loom
For more information about my campaign and how you can join me for some quests please feel free to email me at my email address as fallows
